The Georgetown Journal of History is an online, academic publication dedicated to showcasing the best historical research by undergraduate students throughout the country and abroad. In partnership with the Georgetown University History Department and the Phi Alpha Theta Historical Society, the Journal is spearheaded by an Editorial Board of undergraduate and graduate students. Each editor is responsible for reading submissions, editing, and working with authors to create a final product of the highest publishable quality. Every article published by the Journal undergoes a months-long process of editing and rewriting, all in the aim of presenting the best undergraduate historical scholarship available today.
